Lieutenant Colonel Rogers is the Wing Plans Officer for the 147th Reconnaissance Wing, Texas Air National Guard, Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base (JRB), Houston, Texas. Lieutenant Colonel Rogers attended the United States Air Force Academy following high school graduation in Del Rio, TX. Previously he has served at Dyess AFB, TX; with the Royal Air Force (RAF) in Lakenheath, United Kingdom; Seymour Johnson AFB, NC; and Nellis AFB in Nevada. He has deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Al Udeid, Qatar; and Balad AB, Iraq. He was qualified to fly the F-15E Strike Eagle and the F-16 Fighting Falcon prior to MQ-1B Predator, an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS). Lieutenant Colonel Rogers is currently a resident of Pearland, Texas and his awards include the Meritorious Service Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Aerial Achievement Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, and numerous other awards.
