Description

Intended Audience

This course is designed primarily for operators and operating personnel involved in designing and supervising horizontal drilling operations.

Description

Participants will obtain a direct practical method for designing horizontal drillstrings. Techniques offered include designing horizontal drillstrings to properly load the bottom hole assembly and to provide data and methods for establishing safe operating limits for horizontal strings. The course includes numerous charts and plots that define performance and operating limits for drillstring components.
