Description

This presentation will describe the development of the Khurais Field in Saudi Arabia, and place it in the context of Saudi Aramco's broad crude oil capacity plans.

At 1.2 million barrels per day, the Khurais increment is the largest single development in the history of the oil industry, and was brought on stream during the middle of 2009.  The presentation will cover development planning considerations, the drilling and completion program, and special technologies used in the development of this field.
