The Society of Petroleum Engineers - Gulf Coast Section Young Professionals Committee would like to announce that its annual Roughneck Camp will be held on 19 June 2009. The conference will be hosted by Chevron at their downtown Houston offices and will run from 7:30AM to 4:00PM.
This conference is geared towards summer interns and recent hires into the energy industry. Engineering and non-engineering attendees will benefit from the breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics from technical presentations to career development. There will also be a morning and afternoon keynote speaker discussing current industry views. Roughneck Camp concludes with a panel comprised of young professionals who will discuss career development. There will be an optional social networking opportunity held at the Flying Saucer after Roughneck Camp concludes.
The $25 registration fee covers breakfast, lunch, snacks, and an opportunity to network with fellow participants. Advanced registration is required.
