Description

This dinner program will feature a panel of energy executives discussing their careers with an audience of aspiring young professionals. At the start of the program, panelists will be introduced on stage by the emcee. Then they will join the audience and spend 15 minutes at four different tables for direct discussion with attendees. The expected attendance is 200 young professionals from the World Affairs Council YPG, the SPE-GCS Young Professionals Committee, and the Petroleum Club Young Professionals Association.

The World Affairs Council Young Professionals Group brings together Houston’s emerging leaders and international experts. With over 1,000 members, YPG programs present cutting-edge topics of local and global concern and include time for discussion. The Council of Houston presents all sides of current global issues, promotes better understanding of international relations and contributes to national and international policy debates.

The Society of Petroleum Engineers engages and develops the leadership potential of young oil and gas professionals in preparation to challenge and lead the industry. The SPE-GCS Young Professionals Committee’s vision is to establish a resource base of qualified and dedicated leaders from which the SPE can draw upon to strengthen the organization and industry.

With more than 1,400 members, the Petroleum Club of Houston remains one of the premier private clubs in the city. The Young Professionals Association of the Club (YPA) is for all Junior members of the Club. The Club Junior membership roster extends beyond the oil and gas community to include individuals from all business backgrounds. YPA members enjoy social and educational events throughout the year.
