No Registration is necessary. Admission is FREE. The SPE - GCS invites high school students and their parents, teachers, and counselors to this fair to learn about careers in petroleum engineering. The Society of Petroleum Engineers seeks to educate high school students who are interested in math and science about petroleum engineering. The goal is to attract high school students into the industry by informing them of the opportunities available and by exhibiting some of the technology used in the oilfield. The fairs will show petroleum engineering from the perspectives of universities, recent graduates, and industry leaders. The fairs will also display the SPE - GCS Scholarship Program with speeches from past scholarship recipients.
