 New to the oil and gas industry? New to facilities? Do you work in another part of our industry and want to enhance you knowledge about facilities? Want to network with people that have these same interests in common?

Come to the Expanding Facilities Knowledge Workshop! This will be a an excellent way to increase your basic knowledge about oil and gas facilities, no matter what specific field you are in or how much experience you have, as well as broaden your network.  

This 5 part workshop is aimed at imparting basic concepts and facilities knowledge to graduate new hires and summer interns of EP companies and contractors, while allowing opportunities for networking with other young Houston-based professionals in the industry.
 
Session 5:  Subsea
This session will cover basic subsea equipment, maintenance processes, remote operated vehicles (ROVs), flowlines, umbilicals, risers, etc.
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.

Registration will start @ 3:30pm.  Presentation is from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
 
Note:  walk ins will be seated based on remaining availability and there is no guarantee that a seat will be available once max capacity has been reached.

Chris Horan is the Subsea Systems Supervisor for ExxonMobil Development Company.  During Chris' six year tenure in subsea, he has held various function and project roles, including subsea controls, interface and risk management on the Xikomba, Kizomba A and Kizomba B projects in Angola.  Chris earned mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering and chemistry Bachelors Degrees from Southern Methodist University and a Masters Degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.  Chris resides in Houston with his wife and two daughters.
