Description

This presentation outlines the role and responsibilities of Pollution Prevention and Education Section of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. This division is non-regulatory and aims to assist companies by preventing pollution through all media on the front end. One of the major focus areas includes new technology to assiste Oil and Natural Gas Wells in reducing the emission of VOCs into the atmosphere, while saving the owners money in the process. The division assists companies of all types by conducting Site Assistance Visits (SAV+) which this presentation will also describe in detail.

Danielle L. Doss is an Engineering Specialist with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Mrs. Doss has been with the agency for over four years. Before joining the Pollution Prevention and Education Section, Mrs. Doss worked in the Air Division as an Investigator. She participated in the initial implementation of Infrared Camera Surveillance projects in the State. Prior to her work with the TCEQ, she worked for the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality in the Remediation Services Division. Mrs. Doss holds a degree in Toxicology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
