Description

The current system of energy supply in the Middle East is deeply fragmented, with punishing economic costs for both Israeli and Palestinian consumers.  But energy can also be a constructive instrument in resolving Middle East tensions, creating a financially viable Palestinian state, and fostering regional links that may improve global energy security.

David L. Goldwyn will discuss the natural gas deposits off Gaza and energy-based incentives that can be used by the international community as a bridge to broader cooperation and economic growth.
