Description

Advanced Multi-Zone Stimulation Technology (MZST) is an ExxonMobil patented and licensed method of completing wells with multiple zones requiring fracture stimulation. This technology was developed for Tight Gas developments such as ExxonMobil's Piceance asset in Northwest Colorado.

The MZST consists of two different techniques. The first is Just-In-Time Perforating which involves using ball sealers for diversion between frac stages. ExxonMobil is currently employing this technique for all of their new well completions in the Piceance Basin. The second technique is Annular Coiled Tubing Fracturing (ACT-Frac) which involves pinpoint stimulations that are pumped down the annulus of coiled tubing.
Please register online to facilitate improved planning and admission to the event. Walk-ins will be accepted on a first come / first served basis as space allows. Thank you.
