Petrochemical Co – Woodlands, TX May/2022-Apr/2024
Contractor – Project Manager
Managed an AVD (Azure virtual desktop) technology project for 6 months. The project focused on moving users from legacy VDI technology to Azure VDI technology to streamline & simplify operations, reduce operation costs, and create a better and more sustainable user experience.

Managed a sustainability initiative using the world's leading integrated software for EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) for 18 months. The project focused on using technology to combine data from multiple sources and facilities prepared in different ways into a single reporting system. Infrastructure and data repositories were built to facilitate the integration requirements and make the system work effectively.

Duties included:
• Deliver the project and coordinate activities between business, IT, vendors, and other projects.
• Manage the project schedule and deliverables with MS Project and Asana using waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Develop project plan(s), milestones, estimates, work breakdown structure, and schedules.

Contractor – Business Analyst
Worked on a project conversion from SAP to Oracle Enterprise Business Suite 12.2. The main focus was to develop OTC business specifications for point solutions for the project and to help develop new business processes to facilitate system change. Conducted interviews & collaborated with stakeholders to understand the current process, create process maps, and detailed specification documents using prescribed methodology & Agile approach for the new solution.

Worked with vendor integrator to transition the specification for development & review technical specifications against the design. Provided developers with essential SQL and configurations to support programming. Managed the deliverables assigned & communicated with the application team about best practices following the change-management methodology established for the project. Performed functional and business testing following established project guidelines.

Provided project management, business development, & administration across a portfolio of applications for Petroleum that included P2 Enterprise Upstream, Tobin, Land, Financial & Supply Chain ERP systems, and a variety of other O&G applications. • Delivered & managed an oil & gas operational sales (OTC) project with zero defects with a team of 8 people that generated an additional 20% of revenue per well and saved 180 hours of labor per month.
• Delivered & managed a global financial transformational metrics tool integrated with SAP with 1% defects with a team of 50 people and found a way to reduce the project costs by 5-8 million dollars.

Other Relevant Achievements Before 2006 from different job positions:
• Delivered & managed a global ERP solution within 14 months with only five defects with a team of 125 people that saved my employer 34 million annually in licensing and support costs.
