Description

I am an experienced Petrophysicist with more than a decade O&G technical experience.

Since 2022, I am pursuing MS in Statistics & Data Science from the University of Houston (UH) to gain hands on experience with the fundamentals of cutting edge tools and techniques instead of using those via software platforms only. I am planning on graduating from UH in December 2024. I feel like I am greatly improving on my data science skill set - statistical knowledge and scientific computing while getting exposed to diverse projects from a wide range of field via this program.

As a Petrophysicist/Geoscientist, I have been dealing with and drawing scientific insights from large, complex data throughout my career. Throughout my career I have worked on projects to extract scientific insights using statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, stochastic analysis from multivariate-multiscale data for the oil & gas industry for more than a decade. I have worked on projects to build workflows to delineate resource densities, categorize resources based on their hydrocarbon potential, identifying key parameters, reducing uncertainties to name a few.

I can combine my energy industry domain knowledge along with the Data Science skill to pursue research and contribute to the Energy transformation.

I have a proven track record of working in multi-disciplinary teams. I believe that I can succeed in a challenging yet rewarding environment due to my drive for result oriented work, efficiency in time management, hardworking attitude, and ability to handle multiple jobs simultaneously.
