Conducting desktop techno-economic and engineering screening study for green hydrogen.
Led screening evaluation for site suitability for geologic storage of CO2.
•Conducted research and analytical modeling to characterize geologic storage capabilities, costs, commercial and permitting risks & mitigations, and IRS 45Q policy implications for economics. Joint Interest / Reservoir Engineering Advisor – US 2019 - 2020
Coordinated subsurface engineering technical deliverables and led influencing for top Gulf of Mexico (GOM) joint interest asset in terms of operating cash generation. Managed internal reporting including stewardship of annual planning and budgeting, reserves assessments, and production forecasts including associated GHG emissions. Advisor for other US, non-operated producing assets and prepared divestment due diligence materials.
•Guided one-team approach with ExxonMobil and Operator (BP) asset teams for strategic influencing of joint venture, redirecting priorities and pace to focus on value-added opportunities and deferment of more costly projects for optimal market timing.
•Performed rigorous economic evaluations of Operator-proposed work plans (2 new wells, >10 well interventions, 3 major capital projects) resulting in well-informed and timely funding decisions.
•Advised on and reviewed Operator’s subsurface technical products, ensuring prudent operations while sharing synergies that improved technical products and minimized duplication of effort.

Reservoir Engineering Team Lead – Brazil 2018 - 2019
Spearheaded project development for the Carcara offshore joint venture (Equinor Operator) leading reservoir engineering team and integration of other disciplines (Drilling & Completions, Subsea Engineering, Flow Assurance, Operations, etc.).
•Led project technical definition including assurance reviews from post-acquisition, through concept selection to early funding milestone in record time (< 2yrs) and Concept Select to Advanced Commitment Funding Gate in only 3 months.
•Influenced partnership to align on inclusion of specific optionality / flexibility in development plan by leveraging team's reservoir simulation (dynamic) modeling studies.

Exploration Engineering Team Lead – Global 2015 - 2018
Led new strategic and uniquely designed, multidisciplinary engineering team – Early Pursuit Team - which identified and communicated the value proposition of new acquisition opportunities for the entire Exploration Company through consultation and training.
•Evaluated >100 opportunities for acquisition by collaborating with geoscientists and commercial business analysts, including data room due diligence, resulting in record year for captures.
•Influenced portfolio prioritization through fit-for-risk screening and collaborative decision-making.
•Improved efficiency of Exploration's opportunity identification, characterization, and evaluation process, reducing evaluation cycle time from months to weeks.

Senior Development Planning Engineer - Papua New Guinea (PNG) 2014 - 2015
Facilitated early project planning for PNG Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) expansion efforts. Managed P'nyang integrated project team for Petroleum Development License application and required deliverables including Concept Project Design Basis, Socioeconomic Report, domestic gas and power plans. Stewarded joint venture work program and budget.
•Gained partner alignment on all aspects of P’nyang development plan for timely license submittal through effective technical interfacing and stakeholder engagement.
•Initiated LNG Train 3 Charter Team and streamlined respective inter-company expansion efforts.

Senior Development Planning Engineer – Global 2011 - 2014
Coordinated multidisciplinary engineering teams for numerous global Exploration & Development opportunity assessments and regional studies.
•Enabled organization to avoid low-value work and high-grade best opportunities for capital efficiency and improved agility in licensing rounds. Exploration teams were refocused based on regional studies and subsequent reprioritization.
•Conducted economic analysis of non-operated assets (Shell Operator) in North Sea for key business decisions including lease vs buy and final investment decision / project sanctioning. Provided Subject Matter Expert input for Independent Peer Review with partners to ensure milestone readiness.
•Reviewed bid proposals and associated cost estimates from Environmental & Regulatory contractors for Development Plan Application, producing fit-for-purpose Scope of Work for a US offshore exploration opportunity.
•Revamped processes and workflows for reduction of time to commercialization / acceleration of schedule to first milestone. Modernized screening-level project abandonment and decommissioning guidelines

Reservoir Engineer – Global 1999 - 2011
Performed reservoir technical evaluations of infill drilling and workover programs and optimized depletion plans for several oil and gas producing fields to maximize profitability of assets. Depletion planning schemes encompassed water floods, gas cap blowdown, gas cycling and immiscible gas injection.
•Built complex reservoir simulation model for testing development options and understanding of subsurface uncertainties of US offshore heavy oil asset and performed simulation studies for offshore West Africa for development planning.
•Facilitated the Production Engineering and Geoscience data integration for a Middle East field study, enhancing geophysical logging and interpretation for flood front monitoring.
•Mentored interns and new engineers; recognized for significant improvements in onboarding process
