2013 Reservoir Technology Forum

The 2013 Reservoir Technology Forum is the annual event hosted by the Reservoir Study Group designed to disseminate knowledge and technology needed for reservoir management. This event was sponsored by Anadarko, Ryder Scott, SPT Group, Rock Flow Dynamics, and Baker Hughes, and was held on May 10th, 2013 at Anadarko Conference Center in The Woodlands. This year we had an unprecedented participation of over 180 people, including 35 students from University of Houston and Texas A&M University, who received subsidized registration thanks to our generous corporate sponsors. This year, we focused our attention on technical and practical aspects related to unconventional resources, reserves, and re-energizing aging assets. Dr. Tom Blasingame, Dr. John Lee, and Dr. M. Honarpour, among other high-level speakers, provided interesting insights on these topics. In addition to that, we conducted a panel discussion where well-experienced panelists and attendees actively participated by sharing their observations and insight on the topic of maximizing portfolio value. This Forum was also a great opportunity to network with oil and gas industry professionals in an engaging and dynamic environment.
