Prior to Silverback Exploration I & II, Mr. Lipari served Newfield Exploration as Director of New Ventures and Strategic Planning and GM of the Gulf Coast Division. Mr. Lipari also served as President and CEO of Aspect Abundant Shale and a founding member of EOG’s Barnett Shale Division, initially as Production Manager then as Operations Manager. He holds a Petroleum Engineering degree from LSU.

Parker Reese serves as President and CEO for Austin-based Ameredev. In February 2017, Ameredev closed a $633 million sale in the southern Delaware Basin to Callon Petroleum. Previously, Mr. Reese served as a reservoir engineer for Three Rivers Operating Company I and II and Cimarex Energy. He began his career as an engineer with ConocoPhillips. Mr. Reese graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Petroleum Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas and a member of the SPE.

Jason Cansler serves as President of Rock Oil.  In November 2016, Rock Oil closed a $980 million sale in the Midland Basin to SM Energy. Mr. Cansler has over 15 years integrating his geological background with the commercial skills necessary to acquire and develop them. He spent his first 11 years at Chevron and then joined a small group at Wells Fargo to found its O&G A&D team which closed $4.4 billion in deals from 2011-2014. Jason received his B.S. and M.S degrees in Geology from Kansas State University and University of Kansas (respectively), and his MBA from Tulane University.
