Gabe is a Senior Project Manager for the Business Development (BD) team at Repsol, based in The Woodlands, TX. He has over 22 years of experience working in commercial areas in the oil and gas industry including business development, commercialization/marketing, planning, strategy and energy consulting.


Gabe is currently focused on US Lower 48 business opportunities and specifically in Repsol core areas of the Eagle Ford and Marcellus shale. Prior to joining the BD team, Gabe spent 2 years with the Gulf of Mexico Business Unit and prior to that he held a range of positions in the company’s Vietnam Business Unit during a four year assignment. He joined the company in 2011 and has worked in BD and commercial roles based in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia/PNG, Vietnam and the US. Gabe also spent 10 years in energy consulting advising companies active in gas and LNG markets in the US and Asia. Gabe holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the George Washington University where he completed a dual major in Finance and Information Systems.

Carla Tharp is the President of C T Tharp & Co., an independent consulting firm focused on domestic and international A&D and reservoir engineering consulting. She recently served in multiple positions at APA Corporation as Vice President of International Commercial and Business, Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President of Corporate Reserves. Before joining Apache, Carla was Managing Director of Energy Investment Banking at Raymond James, Director of Acquisitions and Divestitures at Citi Global Markets and at Lantana Energy Advisors. Ms. Tharp graduated from Texas A&M with a BS in Petroleum Engineering working as a reservoir engineer in the transactions and reserves reporting, senior and mezzanine debt finance and in a private equity portfolio company. Carla is on the Board of Directors for the Houston Producers Forum, the Texas A&M University PVP (Petroleum Ventures Program) as well as the ADAM Houston, ADAM Permian and ADAM Rockies, Acquisitions, Divestitures and Mergers (ADAM) groups. She is an avid marathon and half-marathon runner, downhill skier and Texas Hold ‘Em poker player.

Claire Sergent Walls is the owner of the Claire Sergent Walls Legal Group, established in 2008. She is a transactional business attorney with an emphasis on complex land, mineral, and real estate issues primarily within the energy sector serving corporate, small to medium-sized businesses and individual clients. She also manages and delivers on complex land and title projects within the energy industry including oil and gas, coal, solar, and other renewables with an emphasis in the Appalachian Marcellus/Utica states of West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio.


She obtained her law degree from West Virginia University (WVU) in 2005, and attended WVU for her undergraduate degree in English and Master’s Degree in Journalism prior to law school.

Clint Koerth is the Vice President of Elk Range Royalties. Most recently, Clint was the founder and CEO of Castell Oil Company, a Natural Gas Partners portfolio company focused on the SCOOP play in southern Oklahoma.


Clint began his career as an independent petroleum landman, working with Snyder Oil Corporation, Carla Petroleum and Finley Resources. Acting as Vice President of Land and Business Development, Clint was then part of CH4 Energy, LLC's founding team, a Natural Gas Partners portfolio company focused on the Powder River Basin of Wyoming, which was later sold to Bill Barrett Corporation. He then returned to Finley Resources as a partner and Vice President of Acquisitions and Land.


Clint holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma where he studied Petroleum Land Management and was a member of the men's golf team. He then received an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. Clint has been on the steering committee of ADAM Energy Fort Worth during the formation of the organization, is a member of Fort Worth Wildcatters, and several regional ADAM groups.


Clint grew up in central Texas and Alaska, though now he lives in Fort Worth with his wife and two children. He enjoys mountain biking, fly-fishing, and spending time with his family in Wyoming and New Mexico.
