As a Senior Completions Engineering Advisor, Craig provides hydraulic fracturing and completions support to HESS business units worldwide. Prior to joining HESS, Craig was Chief Engineering Advisor for Schlumberger-Hydraulic Fracture Monitoring and Optimization, VP of Stimulation Technology for Carbo Ceramics and VP of Engineering for Pinnacle Technologies. Craig has co-authored over 70 technical papers, was an SPE Distinguished Lecturer on hydraulic fracturing in 2005-2006, and the recipient of the SPE International Completion Optimization and Technology Award in 2013. Craig holds undergraduate degrees in Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston.

Come join us at our new venue, the Norris Conference Center Westchase on Richmond Avenue, to hear Craig Cipolla speak about completion optimization in the Bakken Shale.  Craig is an expert on completion practices, and a former SPE distinguished lecturer on hydraulic fracture operations.  We are honored to have Craig be the one to kick-off our new year, and we hope you'll be able to join us to hear him speak.
