SPE VETERANS PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT

The SPE GCS Veterans program is designed to help Veterans obtain a basic understanding of the Oil & Gas Industry, provide assistance with resume building, interview preparation, and creating direct connectivity to potential employers. The SPE-GCS Veterans Program is composed of military service officers and Oil & Gas professionals.

OBJECTIVES

1. Provide Veterans with a general view of the Oil & Gas Industry
2. Identify Veteran’s skills to match against job openings
3. Render help with resume writing as well as interview skills improvement
4. Introduce Veterans directly to participating companies with viable job openings
5. Act a network hub for other groups and corporate entities aiding Veterans

KEY AUDIENCES

We interact with participating Oil & Gas companies willing to hire Veterans and corresponding Military Centers. SPE-GCS Veterans Program's volunteers come from those organizations.
