Managed as high 500K capital projects and participated in several process optimization projects to increase productivity, equipment and process reliability and continuous improvement. Developed synthesis process for copper nanoparticles through utilization of wet chemistry synthesis methods and identified finest set of parameters and conditions to increase productivity of process. Evaluated and maximized the productivity of synthesis protocols by applying innovative green chemistry metrics and scrutinized size, volume, and intensity distribution of particles by using Dynamic Light Scattering. Synthesized Poly (lactic acid) (PLA), Poly (glycolic acid) (PGA), and their copolymers (PLGA) for drug delivery systems. Developed PFDs, P&IDs, and multiple design data sheets for a variety of process equipment and processes.
