Petroleum Engineer, with 11 years of experience in the oil industry. I have been working on PDVSA (Major Venezuela’s O&G Operator) as a Reservoir Engineer, developing several functions such as: Control and monitoring of Thermal Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) in heavy and extra-heavy oil reservoirs, control and monitoring of technologies and processes of EOR by water/gas injection in light and medium oil reservoirs, visualization and development of generating activities (Original completion, reactivations, work-over and Cyclic Steam Stimulations), design plans for the maintenance of potential and increase drain of reserves of oilfields, and supervision of field activities during operational duties (Work-over, sands isolation, electrical log interpretation, perforation of producing intervals). In addition, I have served in planning positions, coordinating and integrating strategies in medium and long term for the preparation of the Development Plan in the Executive Directorate of The Orinoco Oil Belt, carrying out relevant activities such as: development of the diluent balance 2013-2019 through strategic analysis, and the Probabilistic analysis of the Production Plan of The Orinoco Oil Belt 2014-2015 considering uncertainties and risk factors.

Reservoir Engineer (Joint Venture PETROCARABOBO, between PDVSA, Repsol S.A., and Oil India Ltd).

Functions and Activities:
- Development plan for Accelerated Early Production (Analytic Models) in Petrocarabobo using analogue data (well types, production profiles from offset fields).
- Development of generating activities: Original completion (includes economic evaluations), reactivations, in producing wells of extra-heavy oil, usually completed with mechanical pumping method.
- Analysis for estimation of spacing between horizontal wells, and dynamic and economic assessments for prognosis and post-mortem of wells in the field.
- Field Operations supervision (Wireline Logging, Completions, Workovers).
- Generating diagnoses and recommendations through the monitoring production wells production with sand problems, high RGP and high % water and sediment.
- Declining production calculations using OFM (Oil Field Manager). Analysis and interpretation of results of production tests, and planning sample capture PVT and interpretation of results.

- Ensure sustainable exploitation of reservoirs, maximizing the recovery factor by applying control and monitoring of technologies and processes of enhanced oil recovery (water/gas injection) in about 20 different reservoirs in the superintendence.
- Visualization and development of generating activities: Original completion (includes economic evaluations), reactivations, work-over, and producing zone changes in producing wells of light and medium oil, usually completed with gas lift method.
- Design plans for the maintenance of potential and increase drain of reserves from the fields belonging to the superintendence.
- Developing wells abandonment proposals to help the divestiture of unproductive assets.
