• Supported the TROC project closeout with direct accountability for managing closeout of purchase orders from Atlantic LNG where the project was executed by the main Construction Management Vendor.

Construction Manager, BP America-GPO, Trinidad, April 2015 – June 2017
BP Trinidad Secondee to Atlantic LNG, Trinidad Region Onshore Compression (TROC)
Managed all the project interfaces both internal and external of BP, inclusive of all the stakeholders assigned to the project in the OBO facility and contractors to deliver the Trinidad Region Onshore Compression (TROC) project upgrade SOW.

• Delivered the SOW which included a new 5D Industrial Compressor, a fin fan cooling rack, knockout drum, major heavy wall gas lines, and associated E&I works with termination into a new e-house interfacing with existing MCC and major Geo piling soil stabilization for equipment reinforced concrete foundations within the scheduled timeframe and under budget with 1 recordable over the life of the project.

Managed all fabrication at the various fabrication yards in different localities.

Managed the project associated with a major brownfield upgrade with a subsea component.

• Managed the mechanical completion and interfaces with the construction and commissioning teams to ensure that the project was completed as per the design criteria and met the Operational Technical Integrity required for handing over the facility to the operators for safe start-up and continued operations.

Interface Lead, BP America-GPO, Houston, TX, September 2011 – August 2013
Mad Dog Rig Replacement (MDRR)
Managed a project involving the fabrication, installation, and commissioning of a replacement rig for one that was damaged by Hurricane IKE.

• Managed all interfaces between the regulators, operations, and the WELLS teams on the project for a safe and efficient execution.
• Implemented additional reporting and tracking processes to keep fingers on the pulse for monitoring trends and recognizing issues in real-time for implementing strategies.
• Managed the vetting and onboarding of vendors to support the project.
• Managed the weight control process including regulatory approvals critical to COG required for floating, as well as the handover process to the drilling operators.

Provided overall support to the Project General Manager for a new subsea development project to be tied into an existing producing field.

• Led the development and implementation of the Interface and Stakeholder Management Process.
• Ensured that constructability input was provided into the engineering design while supporting the Engineering Manager and the Subsurface and Wells Team leaders to manage the interface with their respective teams.

Construction Team Lead, BP Trinidad, Trinidad, August 2010 – February 2011
Serrette Project
Provided leadership in the capacity of Project Leadership Team member for all remaining construction activities related to the installation and commissioning of flow lines and instrumentation, drilling and completions support necessary to achieve a successful first gas delivery and handover of the newly fabricated gas platform to the operations team.

Facilities Engineer, BP Trinidad, Trinidad, April 2010 – August 2010
Serrette Project
Managed the interface for the Serrette platform installation by the heavy-lift contractor, Heerema.

• Provided onsite supervision of the final hook-up and tie-in of the risers.
• Managed the interface of Technip, the Dive Support Vessel Contractor, commissioning, and operations crews for the subsea tiebacks, leak testing, pigging of the subsea transmission line, topside leak testing, and introduction of hydrocarbons.

Deputy Site Manager, BP Trinidad, Trinidad, July 2009 – March 2010
Serrette Platform at Trinidad Offshore Fabrication Company Yard (TOFCO)
Managed in the capacity of senior badged client representative on-site with responsibility for managing client approvals to site queries and change orders while monitoring schedule to ensure no slippage to the critical milestone.

• Provided site safety leadership by incorporating the client safety processes into contractor systems while managing the interfaces between the fabrication contractor, the client operations, and commissioning support.
• Managed in the capacity of company representative on the Solitaire pipe-lay vessel laying 52km of 26-inch subsea pipeline to be tied-in to the new platform and the field subsea piping network.

Managed the scope, quality, cost, and schedule for the structural upgrade, inclusive of new process piping tie-ins, riser fabrication, and installation with the associated E, I, and C modifications to the main hub for processing additional inventory from the newly installed unmanned Savonette platform.

Brownfield Team Lead, BP, December 2006 – April 2008
Amherstia Platform Turnaround Project
Led the Brownfield team in executing the scope, quality, cost, and schedule for the structural upgrade to the existing platform and installation of a newly fabricated 350-ton deck extension with pig launchers, modification of existing and installation of additional process piping E, I, and C modifications and mechanical systems on both the new extension and the existing main hub for processing the additional inventory supplied by newly installed Cashima gas production platform.

Brownfield Site Lead, Petrotrin Trinmar Operations - Trinidad, September 2004 – November 2006
Managed the Brownfield execution scope of the structural strengthening of an aging main hub oil and gas production platform which surpassed its expected design life.

• Installed thirty-four new 36” steel raked piles braced to the existing structure for additional support as the original steel piles exhibited signs of compression failure. Thus, also included was the installation of fourteen 60” rolled steel casement clamps, grouted in place to repair deteriorated RC piles from the splash zone to underside of the main deck, and changed out of 40 W24 structural beams from the main and Well decks elevation while the facility was in production.
• Managed change orders, scheduled recovery, and assessed milestone payments in the $26M upgrade project.
