Professional Experience

EXXONMOBIL, Houston, TX 2010 - 2020

Senior Geologist, West Africa Operations 2020 - 2020
Ensured technical excellence as operated acreage (Equatorial Guinea) approached drill / drop decision and kick-off of regional Namibe basin study.
• Evaluated development concepts, supporting commercial negotiations with government and potential partners.
• Interpreted 3D and 2D seismic to quickly quantify key risks and uncertainties associated with hydrocarbon system play elements in Namibe Basin (offshore Angola and Namibia), underpinning future prospect identification and maturation.

Americas Reserves Advisor, ExxonMobil Global Reserves and Resource Group 2019 - 2020
Guided affiliates in North and South America regions through proper migration and classification of hydrocarbon volumes in ExxonMobil resource base and in compliance with SEC reserves definitions.
• Provided training and collaborated closely with business units and reserves contacts, efficiently preparing for and addressing dynamic portfolio (asset and well results).

Senior Geologist, Equatorial Guinea Production 2017 - 2019
Worked closely with highly cross-functional team of geoscientists, and reservoir, drilling, production, and facilities engineers to find solutions for further field development in complex brownfield environment.
• Interpreted and integrated production history, 4D monitor seismic surveys, and AVO, identifying 4 economic infill wells in Zafiro field.
• Led diverse team that planned and acquired $27M Monitor 4D seismic survey, supporting further development of mature asset.
• Coordinated $500M drilling budget receiving approval by senior management and regulator of Equatorial Guinea, funding drilling campaign extending economic end of field life.

Senior Geologist, Gulf of Mexico Exploration 2011 - 2017
Supported broad subsurface team in the identification, maturation, and integration of Gulf of Mexico exploration
opportunities.
• Utilized time and depth seismic, offset seismic stacks, gathers, gravity, and well data, prioritizing prospective GOM lease sales.
• Served as Lead interpreter (3 years) for exploration prospect, safely meeting well objectives through effective well execution.
o Technical Maturation: Mapped subsalt prospect on multiple datasets,
integrated data to identify key prospect risks, generating assessment
encompassing range of volumetric outcomes for drill ready
opportunity.
o Well planning: Collaborated with operations and drilling organizations
to identify shallow hazards and generate pore pressure prediction,
resulting in an effective well design that met well objectives.
o Partner Interactions: Functioned as key technical contributor
achieving and maintaining technical alignment with partner company
on well plan and objectives.
o Permitting: Interfaced with regulatory organization through EP and
APD approval, delivering inputs for Worst Case Discharge (WCD) and
composing prospect geologic description.
o Drilling: Participated in daily calls with rig, monitored daily drilling
reports producing summary of activities for senior management on
drilling progress.
o Post Drill Analysis: Integrated data collected from drilling operations
including: well logs, pressure data, walk away VSP, and Fluid-Inclusion
Volatile (FIV) samples, identifying and documenting remaining
potential.
• Managed 2 prospect specific seismic reprocessing projects, de-risking drill well opportunities and obtaining highest asset value supporting commercial opportunities.
• Monitored competitor activity, evaluating asset acquisition opportunities, potential partners, impact on corporate assets and incorporating analysis into broader acreage management strategy.

Senior Geologist, Deepwater Nigeria Exploration 2010 - 2011
Applied expertise gained from graduate studies to mature and evaluate 5 prospects to prepare for OML conversion of operated acreage.
• Assessed asset value, ensuring retention of highest quality prospects for future exploration evaluation.

OHIO ARMY NATIONAL GUARD 2000 - 2007
Military Police Officer, USAG Grafenwoehr, Germany 2006 - 2007
Trained as Armor Crew Member, Avenger Missile System Crew Member, and Military Police Officer (MP). As an MP,
upheld safety and security of entire military base.
Army Achievement Medals:
• Outstanding Physical Fitness, leading others and establishing personalized diet and exercise routines
• Distinguished Honor Graduate, awarded for graduating top in class in Air Defense Artillery Qualifications course.
• Mentoring Newly Enlisted Soldiers, awarded for mentoring younger soldiers on proper procedures conducted
on M1A1 Main Battle Tank.
