General Meeting - NATIONAL PETROLEUM COUNCIL'S GLOBAL OIL & GAS STUDY

A recent study was conducted under the auspices of the National Petroleum Council to answer certain key questions:
  • What does the future hold for global oil and natural gas supply?
  • Can incremental oil and gas supplies be brought on-line, on time, and at a reasonable price to meet future demand without jeopardizing economic growth?
  • What oil and gas supply and / or demand-side strategies does the Council recommend the U.S. pursue to ensure greater economic stability and prosperity?

The study approach was designed to be inclusive by engaging and involving a broad and diverse group of leaders and interested parties from within and without the National Petroleum Council.  The main goal was to identify both the supply and demand options that would be applicable under a wide range of futures.

Rod will present the results of this study, sharing the hard truths learned and recommended strategies for the U.S. to follow.  The key themes will be the future of oil and gas, supply and demand strategies, and ensuring economic stability and growth.
