New Zealand is a mature oil and gas province of complex geology dominated by the collision of the Australian and Pacific Plates. It is located at one of the far reaches of the oil and gas supply chain; and, as with many provinces is evolving the commercial aspects of Oil and Gas Permits (concessions) and regulatory requirements to balance the needs of the New Zealand government and the oil and gas operator. Mr. Bob Banks, Vice President, International Operations and Strategic Ventures - Swift Energy Company, will present a view of the issues and the applications of the oil and gas operator in this challenging environment.
