Can You Hear Me Now - Communicating Across the Generation Gap

"Can You Hear Me Now - Communicating Across the Generation Gap"

Engineering societies and businesses need regular infusions of young blood to survive and thrive.  Yet, these groups sometimes fail to attract or keep younger engineers.  Young and old say they have trouble talking to one another, not only at organization meetings, but even worse, at work.  Some can''t think of anything to say.  Others complain that those who are younger or older don''t listen.  Still others see no need to bother.  In this participative program, learn what you can gain from intergenerational communication, and acquire skills for talking to, and getting heard by, others.
