Improving Production Forecasts in Ultra-low Permeability Wells
This presentation will show that simple practices such as using diagnostic plots to identify flow regimes in a well’s history and analyzing data in each flow regime separately can significantly improve our results in forecasting the performance of wells in ultra-low permeability reservoirs, such as shales. Numerous field examples will illustrate helpful practices.
