Come and network with the SPE-GCS Innovate Community and hear Sean Hunt, a graduate of MIT, cofounder and CTO of Solugen who made the 2017 30 under 30 Forbes list together with Solugen CEO, Gaurab Chakrabarti, share details of the early days of Solugen dating back to its beginning in 2016. Sean will also share how Solugen became one of Houston’s fastest growing chemical manufacturers, receiving $32 million Series B funding earlier this year, roughly only six months after receiving $13.5 million in Series A funding. Solugen will be formally awarded this October for being recognized on the list of the Best Places to Work in 2019 by the Houston Business Journal. Solugen is the only chemical manufacturer of bio-based peroxide solutions and has a unique vision to decarbonize the chemical industry.
