Applications in AI in Drilling

This presentation and demonstration will focus on Drilling Planning and Optimization workflows in the upstream Oil and Gas domain by applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to operational data. The model uses both unsupervised Machine Learning as well as supervised deep learning techniques on data gathered by drilling sensors and the daily operations reports and provides KPI dashboards as well as a predictions to aid in better drilling operations. The workflow encompasses the detection of outliers and data quality issues and their subsequent validation and suggested corrections to improve the quality of data in an automated fashion during the model training process. The presentation will showcase the end-to-end process used in building this workflow as well as a unique performance dashboard to validate its performance.
