After financial restructuring in 2016, Penn Virginia pivoted to become a more streamlined company focusing on achieving sustainable production growth and positive cash flow through a number of small transactions. Today, thanks to those acquisitions and divestitures, the company has become an Eagle Ford pure play producer with 84,200 net acres in DeWitt, Fayette, Gonzales and Lavaca counties, and is now targeting 25-30% year-on-year production growth with its 2-rig development program.
