The Deepwater Fluids Technology Course is a foundation course designed to bring general awareness about deepwater well construction operations and the technical challenges faced when operating in this environment. The success factors needed to operate in these fields is to understand the reservoir properties and how they affect the drilling fluid design, performance, and operations.

As such, and in order to be an integrated asset for deepwater operations, and to become a trusted advisor; the personnel involved must be prepared to understand the entire drilling operations and challenges.
