SPE EnergyDot : The Leadership Summit
Due to the adaptation of technologies and the synergies between Silicon Valley, finance, academia, technology companies and the Oil & Gas Industry in Houston, the Society of Petroleum Engineers believes that it will be a great initiative to have top executives from these sectors share their expertise and inspire engineers to find a middle ground to work together to solve the world’s energy problems. This is the first of such initiative in the industry.
Four sessions of the conference will be in the format of fireside chat where the executives from Oil & Gas industry, Finance and Technology companies will discuss their vision. Additionally; there will be Dot Talks which will be given by individual speakers.
We believe that sharing the experiences of Oil & Gas, Energy, Finance and Technology professionals at this event will help us achieve the goal of exposing the industry to innovation and leadership from these industries. It will inspire us to embrace current cultural and technical advancement from other industries and showcase how best we all can work together to build a solid foundation for a promising career in the energy sector.
