Steering Wells on 6 Rigs Using Automated Directional Drilling and a Remote Drilling Operations Center
An operator will describe experience creating and running a real time operations center located in Houston, Texas providing directional drilling and geo-steering for a six rig fleet in the Bakken in North Dakota. The center uses a combination of automated directional drilling software, field and office directional drillers, and geo-steering technicians to conduct drilling operations.
