Partnering with Private Equity: From Deal Flow to Term Sheets

Please join us at a SPE-GCS Investment & Finance Initiative event, created to open a dialogue between SPE members and the oil and gas investment community.

A networking reception will take place from 5:00pm to 5:45pm and is sponsored by our host Boston Consulting Group.

With the increase in activity due to oil prices reaching levels not seen since 2014, continued growth in demand and discipline by OPEC, the competition for capital is on the rise. During the downturn, private equity has undoubtedly left a large foot print in the oil and gas industry. But as the current capital environment continues to evolve, many question who now has capital, how to access it, and what will drive the next PE activity wave in the oilfield?

Our panel with legal, consulting, investment, E&P, and OFS backgrounds will discuss how to interact with the private equity sector, recent trends, the opportunities and challenges of working with private equity investors, and Q&A relating to investment in the energy sector.

Moderator:

Bryan Marlborough – Business Manager, Peloton
