The Gulf Coast chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers will host an one-day Data Science Convention at the Norris Conference Center, Houston, TX, on Thursday April 19th. This year’s theme is “Transforming the Upstream O&G Industry with Advanced Data Science Solutions”. We are excited to have two extraordinary keynote speakers: Michael Rowley, BP CIO and Director of Technology & Innovation; and Gregory P. (Greg) Leveille, CTO for ConocoPhillips.
The convention is intended for Upstream Oil & Gas professionals, academia scholars and students with interests in emerging data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence applications. The agenda will include presentations from leading professionals, major operators, suppliers, technology start-ups and academia to showcase applications and advancements of big data analytics in the Oil & Gas industry.
We will also be hosting startup and technology companies* who will exhibit their State of the Art and emerging products. With up to 400 attendees, there will be ample networking opportunities with lunch and coffee breaks (covered in your registration fees).
