YP: Going Up!

Going Up!

Drafting the perfect Elevator Pitch to advance your career by making a lasting first impression.

Going UP! is a 2 hour workshop to assist participants with developing an elevator pitch. Having a perfectly crafted elevator pitch is essential for creating a lasting impression. You never know when or where your next career opportunity might occur and having a prepared elevator pitch ensures you are ready to properly introduce and highlight your capabilities.

During the Going Up! workshop, we will review the various types of elevator pitches/speeches and discuss how the pitch should connect with your career purpose/goals. The majority of the workshop will be focused on writing your elevator pitch. The workshop is an interactive session where participants will work in groups building off of each other’s perspectives to draft, practice and refine their individual elevator pitch. Participants should come prepared to give and receive feedback.

Join us and learn strategies to be prepared to make a lasting first impression.
