2016 Annual SPE-GCS Petroleum Engineering High School Recruiting Fair
Curious About an Exciting and Financially Rewarding Career?
* The SPE-GCS High School Recruiting Fair Committee has organized an Oil & Gas Industry recruiting fair at Memorial High School in mid-November.
* The event is designed to encourage high school students to consider careers in the petroleum industry. The two-hour program will have a 30-minute program of speakers that has a variety of perspectives, including recent graduates, industry leaders, and university recruiters.
* In the past, universities recruiting in fairs have included Rice University, Colorado School of Mines, Louisiana State University, Marietta College, Montana Tech, University of Oklahoma, Penn State, University of Texas-Austin, Texas A&M University, Texas Tech University, University of Tulsa and Missouri University of Science and Technology.
*Throughout the school year, SPE volunteers are available to speak to students and adults about the oil business, thereby increasing public understanding of the science and engineering involved in our industry.
* Industry professionals and student chapter volunteers are welcome.
