YP: Volunteering with Friends for Life
Are you an animal lover? Think you'll have some free time next Wednesday (November 20th) from 6-8pm? Then come join other young professionals help out Friends for Life, a local no-kill animal shelter, with their Project WARM build night!
Each winter, Friends For Life builds WARM feral cat houses and offers them to the public. These simple, cheap houses are made out of Rubbermaid/Sterlite tubs and are lined with a layer of foam and hay for insulation-- protection for animals who have no shelter from encroaching winter weather. We're helping round up volunteers to assemble 100 of these insulated shelters for this winter's drive.
