There has been a lot of hype about open innovation and crowdsourcing over the last number of years. Results from applying open innovation and crowdsourcing have been mixed. Skip Davis will discuss different approaches to ideation, open innovation and crowdsourcing. He will then give examples of how these concepts are being used to develop new technology in oil & gas. The presentation will also outline some of the key elements of an effective open innovation program.
