R&D: Leadership Perspectives on Running a Research and Development Organization
Ben van den Brule, Vice President Unconventionals Technology, Shell will speak to management of a research organization. Ben will discuss balancing the project portfolio between incremental and blue sky projects, people development in R&D organizations, R&D tools and methods (lean development, crowdsourcing, etc.) and leveraging collaborations outside of oil & gas.
