General Mtg. - THE EMERGENCE of LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS as a TRANSPORTATION FUEL in NORTH AMERICA

Abstract of Presentation:

The current market environment in North America presents a unique opportunity to utilize liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a commercial fuel in various transportation, high-horsepower and industrial applications. An amalgam of key market factors, including but not limited to, the abundance of domestic natural gas supply, the current price trajectory of both natural gas and oil-indexed fuels, and the recent technological advances in the production of natural gas-powered engines have catalyzed the conversion of historical oil-derived fuel demand to LNG.

James Edward Burns, General Manager, LNG for Transport, Shell Americas will lead a discussion on the key commercial, technical and regulatory developments in this exciting, new business space.
