YP: Volunteer at the Houston Arboretum!

Located on the western edge of Memorial Park, the Houston Arboretum is a forested oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Houston. This 155-acre non-profit urban nature sanctuary provides services to nearly 200,000 visitors annually, and nature education programs for more than 10,000 children annually.

On Saturday August 25th, come join the SPE Young Professionals as we work with the Arboretum in one of their many conservation projects. We'll be meeting in the morning from 9 am - 12 am, with coffee, drinks, and snacks provided. The Houston Arboretum, like many parts of Houston, is still recovering from drought conditions and could use the assistance of as many caring Houstonians as we can round up, so please come join us at this event!
Please come in clothes you feel comfortable getting dirty in! Closed toed shoes are recommended, and please bring work gloves if you have a pair.
