Community Services: Leadership Conference and Job Skills Fair
On September 23, 2011 SkillsUSA, Texas Technology Student Association and FFA
will hold a Leadership Conference and Job Skills Fair for the students in these
organizations. The event will begin at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. We are asking
businesses and post-secondary schools to attend and set up an exhibit to talk to
students about continuing education and possible careers available to them in the field
you represent. We are expecting 2000 students to participate. Most students would be
from Harris County, but schools in the surrounding counties will also be invited.
SPEGCS Community Services is looking for volunteers to host a booth and be available to talk to the students about the Oil & Gas Industry. Booth display information including SPE brochures and giveaways will be available to hand out to students.
