Here are the parking options near One Allen Center:
Overall, the best option is to use valet at Doubletree Hotel next door (based on location and fixed price of $15 for the day event). Their information:
400 Dallas St.
Houston, TX
(713) 759-0202
The other option is surface parking just west/northwest of the Hess building (One Allen Center) at Dallas and Clay which is a bit cheaper ($10 they thought) but more of walk and you may need to get there earlier to get a spot.
The Hess Conference Center is located on the street level of One Allen Center. There will be a gold Hess logo marking the conference center. Please do not go to the Hess Main Lobby. If entering from Dallas St, enter the lobby and the conference center is on the right side. If entering from Smith St, pass the escalators and walk through the hallway to the other side. The Hess Conference Center will be along the back wall.
