LATIN AMERICAN EXPERIENCES of an OILFIELD EQUIPMENT SUPPLIER

The entire region of Latin America is comprised of more than fifteen countries.  Yet the majority of economic activity for the region occurs in just five countries.

With a range of governments, economic policies, and monetary units as well as varying cultures, Latin America proves to be an interesting and challenging place to do business.

The Oil & Gas sector represents a major portion of several Latin American economies and their respective GDP output.  Overall, Latin America accounts for more than a third of the international rig count and holds the top spot for more rigs operating than any other international region according to the Baker Hughes Rig Count.

With the business and political climate constantly changing in Latin America, Mr. Crisp will review some of the regions statistics and comment on market trends as they relate to equipment suppliers and the Oil & Gas industry, as well as provide a cultural and business perspective on several countries.
