John Hofmeister, Founder and CEO of the not-for-profit (501(c)(3)), nation-wide membership association, Citizens for Affordable Energy, and also retired President of Shell Oil Company, will be speaking on energy security, alternative energy sources and technology at this event. He is the author of “Why We Hate the Oil Companies: Straight Talk From an Energy Insider” which is due in bookstores May 25^th. In celebration of his book release, all attendees will receive a copy of his book upon registration in this joint book signing event and dinner hosted by The Society of Women Engineers at The H.E.S.S. Club with registration being sponsored by The Society of Petroleum Engineers – Gulf Coast Section.
