Northside: MST (Multizone, single trip) Completions, DeepWater Case History

Multizone single trip systems are currently being evaluated for deep water lower tertiary (LT) trends where multiple sand-control completion intervals are required.  However, this technology can be implemented in other applications.

This presentation will review the following:

  • Basic MST Review
  • Candidate Selection Process
  • Deep Water MST Case History: MC 502 Well 2

The MST time savings, versus conventional, for this well was 5-7 days making this technology applicable for all equivalent pressure multizone completions.

The resulting savings for a typical lower tertiary well,  assuming a $ 1MM/day spread rate, a 30,000 ft well, and 4 intervals,  would be in the 30-40 MM$ range.

Please register online to facilitate improved planning and admission to the event. Walk-ins will be accepted on a first come/ first serve basis as space allows. Thank you.
