WHICH IS TOUGHER - FINDING OIL or DEALING WITH YOUNG PROFESSIONALS?

Finding oil and gas is tough… understanding, motivating and training the rush of young professionals entering the industry… now THAT’S a challenge!

Our November program will offer attendees the opportunity to gain perspective and knowledge about young professionals, direct from the source. Our panel will offer a representative view of the industry, with professionals in different types of companies, engineering roles and years of experience.

The format will be an interactive style, allowing attendees to ask the questions they’re most wondering about, but can never actually verbalize in their own organization. You’ll hear straight talk about what today’s young professionals feel they need and want, in addition to what they consciously avoid. You won’t want to miss out on this meeting.

Just some of the discussion topics of our panel will include:

* What were some of the motivators for young engineers to start their careers at a specific company?

* What good advice have young professionals heard about career development?

* What can SPE do as an organization to get young engineers more engaged and involved?
