CLASS IS FULL! FREE SPE PE License and Certification Exam Review Short Course

*We are sorry; this class is full and no walk-in spaces are available.*

SPE will offer the PE license and SPE Certification exam review short course AT NO COST on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station on Saturday and Sunday, May 17 & 18, 2008, 8-5 pm both days.

This course is a review of the typical petroleum engineering problems found in PE license and SPE certification exams.  Topics include drilling and completion, production logging, economics, improved recovery, formation evaluation, and tips on taking the exams.

Normally, the registration fee for the course is $650 for members and $750 for non-members.  The course is being videotaped for a DVD and online course presentation for engineers who cannot attend review courses at meetings.  We need classroom attendees to add to the dynamic interactions between the instructors and attendees.

The minimum requirements for state boards of registration for PE licensure are four years industry experience post-graduation and you must have graduated from an ABET-accredited engineering department.  SPE Certification requires four years of industry experience and having graduated from an accredited university program.

Bill McCain (Texas A&M) and Richard Hughes (LSU) are the instructors.
