Two key challenges facing operators is routin ely and economically determining the number of effective clusters within a stage and determining the resulting fracture lengths. This presentation f ocuses on a methodology for determining the number of open clusters at the end of a fracture treatment and the resulting fracture geometry. The meth odology has been calibrated with multiple diagnostic methods, including fi ber optics, stepdown tests, radioactive tracing, oil and water tracers, fr acture modeling and RTA technologies. Results will illustrate the effects of perforation size and number, cluster spacing, stress shadowing and dive rter performance. The effects of cluster performance on fracture length an d asymmetric fracturing will be discussed in relation to parent and infill development. The solutions can be applied to each stage of the wellbore, unlike post-job techniques which often only focus on a few stages.\r\n \r\ nRegistration for this event closes at 6:00 PM CDT on Monday, November 12, 2018. \r\n --- This iCal file does *NOT* confirm registration.Event deta ils subject to change. ---\r\n\r\n--- By Tendenci - The Open Source AMS fo r Associations ---\r\n UID:uid4199@spegcs.org SUMMARY:Westside: Determination of Open Clusters and Fracture Geometry using Fracture Treatment Data DTSTART:20181114T173000Z DTEND:20181114T190000Z CLASS:PUBLIC PRIORITY:5 DTSTAMP:20240329T151456Z TRANSP:OPAQUE SEQUENCE:0 LOCATION:Norris Westchase Center X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
