One of the biggest challenges when designing a refrac completion is how to successfully divert the proppant and fluid th roughout the entire lateral. Historically, refracs have had little succes s due to disproportionately treating the heel and leaving the remaining la teral unstimulated. To combat this known issue, the Noble&rsquo\;s South Texas Well Engineering team chose to employ a new technology called SlickF rac created by Thru Tubing Solutions. SlickFrac is a knotted rope, wax enc apsulated for deployment, that is pumped down the wellbore at designed int ervals during the re-stimulation. The knotted rope diverts flow by mechani cally sealing off a perforation that was previously taking fluid. The succ essful application of this technology would drastically improve the chance s to divert the flow and stimulate a higher percentage of the lateral. Th e conclusions drawn from this first Eagle Ford test will be used to drive improvements in our designs and build a foundation for future programs see king to capture value left behind in unconventional shale plays. --- This iCal file does *NOT* confirm registration.Event details subject to change. ---\r\n\r\n--- By Tendenci - The Open Source AMS for Associations ---\r\n UID:uid3965@spegcs.org SUMMARY:Northside: MAXIMIZING VALUE THROUGH RESTIMULATION WITH NEW DIVERSION TECHNOLOGY DTSTART:20180508T163000Z DTEND:20180508T180000Z CLASS:PUBLIC PRIORITY:5 DTSTAMP:20240329T000414Z TRANSP:OPAQUE SEQUENCE:0 LOCATION:Southwestern Energy. 10000 Energy Dr, Spring, TX 77389 X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
